Footnotes

I am starting to use Great Tables and I love the outputs. Something that is bothering me though is that the picture below lists footnotes, but there is currently no method to create footnotes.
I have a column in my dataframe for 'notes', it would be fantastic if I could assign that to a different column to generate footnotes from the 'notes' column. In my current use case, it is explaining further a boolean value that is not the main intent of the table, but an easy follow-up question.
