How to use SageMath kernel in Positron?

OS: macOS 26.1
Device: Macbook Pro M2
Version: Positron 2025.11.0

I installed SageMath through brew install sage, opened Positron and clicked Kernel Selector button. But SageMath 10.7 doesn't show up.

We are tracking work to support arbitrary kernels in our notebook experience in #4962. Want to take a look at that issue and add a 👍 plus any additional info on your use case?

At the University of Waterloo, some math professors give Python assignments. Most students use school-hosted Jupyter web that comes with SageMath, but I found Positron easier to use.
