Any plans/timeline to change the default value of console.multipleConsoleSessions from FALSE to TRUE? #7315

TRUE would be much better and, IFAICT, the feature is stable enough to be the default. This matters a lot for teaching beginners via tutorials since we need one Console in which the tutorial runs and another Console for students to do stuff in. |

As of https://github.com/posit-dev/positron/releases/tag/2025.05.0-58, the support for multisession consoles is now on by default. Please let us know if you do not see that to be the case! |
