Testing R package opens new panel

When testing an R pacakge, in addition to focusing on the "Testing" pane from the left hand menu, it also opens another testing panel (which can be moved around where you want). This last panel, to me, seems very unecessary and I keep hiding it, but for every time I run the tests, it comes back up.

Is there a setting to turn it off or permanently hide it? I'm perfectly happy with "just" the Testing alone.
