Hello!

I've had a few issues internally with our firewall blocking some executions from Positron. An internal team has asked me to reach out to get some information. Below are some snippets of what's been asked. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

"
We’ve been in touch with the Halcyon support team regarding the recent blocks observed for Positron Software. They’ve confirmed that they can create signature-based allow rules; however, the binaries currently being blocked appear to be unsigned.
To proceed, they’ve requested the signing certificate for the application. Specifically, they need the certificate thumbprint to add it to the global whitelist.
Could you please share the relevant signing certificate details for Positron Software at your earliest convenience?

I'm not 100% sure what is being asked for here. Positron has a lot of binaries! I'm hoping that they are asking about the signature on the Positron installer itself. If this is the case, here you go (SHA-1 and SHA-256):

sha1 Fingerprint=7B:0F:36:0B:77:5F:76:C9:4A:12:CA:48:44:5A:A2:D2:A8:75:70:1C
sha256 Fingerprint=46:01:1E:DE:1C:14:7E:B2:BC:73:1A:53:9B:7C:04:7B:7E:E9:3E:48:B9:D3:C3:BA:71:0C:E1:32:BB:DF:AC:6B

If these values don't work, they can get the thumbprint directly from Powershell for the executable in question using Get-AuthenticodeSignature.

Does that do what you need?

I know ark.exe was throwing issues on my side of the fence.

Sorry for the delay on this. I was waiting on a response from our internal team. Apparently what they were looking for was the thumbprint from the installer itself. see the below screenshot.
