Having trouble signing into to Copilot

I'm working on a remote server and we use Gitlab for our remote repositories. When I try to sign in to github copilot, it seems like it's trying to pull up gitlab. Is there a configuration setting I'm missing or something? It works fine when I'm not on the server.

Thank you for this report! I have opened #9568 to track and prioritize this problem.

You also may want to check out #8409 where we are tracking improvements in auth for GitHub Copilot in a remote SSH session. Currently, you do need to authenticate to GitHub on the remote server as well as locally.
