Having trouble deploying quarto doc to connect when rendering on server

I'm able to publish a quarto doc by rendering locally, and i'm able to publish the doc to render on the server with rstudio but when i switch to posit publisher and try to publish and render on the connect server I get an error that knitr and rmarkdown are not available.
