No, Positron doesn't currently have this feature. It's on our list, though! Follow here for updates (and comment/upvote if you like!): |

I love positron, but as someone who works heavily with interactive htmlwidgets outputs I haven't yet been able to make the full jump over from RStudio.
In RStudio the viewer pane allows for various html outputs to be stored in the "Viewer" pane and switched between (like the "Plots" window in Positron), but this doesn't exist in Positron. This means If I have multiple htmlwidgets and want to switch between I have to re-render them separately every time (This is accentuated by the lack of inline rendering in .qmd files, but that's not a positron issue).
To give an example: I might run a plot using {echarts4r} and then a table using {reactable}. In RStudio I can switch between these htmlwidget outputs, but in positron I have to re-render each each time to switch between (or render the full document). Not being able click back through previous outputs makes the workflow much less smooth.
Is there any possibility of multiple items being able to be stored in the "Viewer" pane like RStudio?
Or maybe this can already be done and i'm missing something.
Thanks!
