We are tracking a new button to stop the running process in #7747. Want to take a look to see if that is what you're looking for? You can clear the URL from the Viewer pane via this button, if that is what you are wanting to do:

How can I clear the viewer? Even after starting a new session (bin symbol in the console), the content remains in the viewer.
It seems only closing Positron and opening it again clears the viewer. Many thanks!
