Inconsistent behavior for autoclosing %

Sorry, I dont have more info than this. On my macos laptop, when I type % it will "auto-close" (i.e entering one %, returns %%). On my mac-mini, it does not. At the same time auto-close works for parenthesis, etc.

My settings are synched between devices, so editor.autoClosingBrackets has the same value: "languageDefined". Changing this to "always" does nothing.

This is usually how I would use it:

df |>  filter(var %in% ...)

Thanks. Can confirm that it works in R but not .qmd. Is there a way to activate this setting for .qmd also?

Are you able to make a feature request over there? Since it's a different GitHub org, unfortunately I can't transfer the issue.
