Hi Saša,
Thanks for buying the book.
If you already have a configuration than you can easily copy the
bits you need.
EWS is not like Doom Emacs. The idea of EWS is to give people a
head start and then they can maintain their own con fig. The
GitHub repository contains the Org mode source files. Use the
Appendix to take what you need.
Note that there is also the ews.el file, which contains the
convenience functions. I am planning to convert this to a package
soon.
So I suggest to copy what you need and load the ews.el file for
the additional functionality.
What do you use to export Org mode to Tiki?
Regards
P:)

… Hello!
I've purchased your ebook, subscribed to YT channel, and I'm
ready to become serious. :-)
For some time time I was considering to try Doom Emacs and modal
editing, but decided to stay with vanilla bindings. Currently I
have
working setup using use-package specs. There is part covering
org-mode (for task management), mu4e etc. so I wonder what would
be the easiest way to "plug in" EWS setup to my current
configuration?
I'll probably try to mimic the large part of EWS except that
I'll most likely continue writing web content using org-mode,
but then
convert to [Tiki])(https://tiki.org/HomePage) avoid fiddling
with 3rd party apps to cover forms/comments/search...

Hi Saša, I use Hugo for my website without any packages. This blog post explains how I achieve this: https://lucidmanager.org/productivity/create-websites-with-org-mode-and-hugo/ Hugo can natively process Org mode files. There are some limitations, but it works fine for me. Regards P:) |

Yes, I manage my Hugo template on Emacs. it is just plain text, so easy to edit. Emacs can work with any plain text format. I developed a theme, which is available on: https://github.com/pprevos/hugo-thirdhemisphere. You can of course use any theme you choose and modify to your liking. My workflow is now super easy. I add or modify Org mode content or edit the template. Then run a bash script and my website is updated to the latest version. |

I developed my own Hugo template from scratch (in Emacs). There are lots of ways to blog from Emacs. It all depends on your personal preferences. Good luck, |
