By chaging the bank of all the notes in the beatmap, from normal to soft for example, some hitsounds are muted.

I do not recall fixing anything like this in particular recently and I cannot reproduce on master, even with OP's map (which appears to be https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/2476673#osu/5430423).

@64ArthurAraujo please re-test this on master and check whether it still occurs.

I was able to reproduce it in master with the same beatmap and other beatmaps i noticed i was only able to reproduce this on beatmaps that have just a single addition bank (or auto) on all notes.

On the beatmap bellow i changed all the addition banks to normal, saved, reopened and changed the bank of all notes to soft. The video is mute but you can see that the SampleMixer only shows some feedback on the slider.

I am using Linux with Wayland if that's anyhow helpful

Still can't work with this sorry. The latest video is irreproducible.

• It's on a different beatmap than the one I found by clues in your original video. I don't know what the beatmap is. I can only see the background. I don't have the eidetic memory to find a map by background.
• I can't see the timestamp. I don't know which objects you're trying to check for sounds.
• I checked with your map (https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/2476673#osu/5430423) again. I did:
  • Ctrl+A,
  • selected first sample point,
  • changed normal bank to soft,
  • played map with everything but effects muted.
  • I listened to the first minute of the map and couldn't detect a single missing hitsound.

You're going to need to either provide a fully specified reproduction scenario with all the gory details or investigate this yourself because I am unwilling to spend hours chasing ghosts.

My sincere apologies for being too vague and making you uselessly lose some time on this. The other beatmap is https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/1918427#osu/3958818, i was able to nail down the part that i can always reproduce the issue so we don't need to deal with the CTRL+A studders, sadly github doesnt let me upload a .osu file, replace all the hitobjects of the Extra difficulty with:

The position is 00:44:203, CTRL+A change the bank of all notes as mentioned before (use the circle at the exact position the editor is to change the banks), it does not happen every single time, in the bellow log's attempt i tried 3 times before successfully reproducing it, the log doesnt seem to show anything useful but it is bellow anyways. If you still cannot reproduce this im sorry but this was the best i could nail down, i might try to actually debug it in depth sometime later.
