I am using Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon and Anaconda Python (conda 24.7.1). I setup a clean installation without Docker and it works.
Prepare a new Python environment:
$ mkdir screeni
$ cd screeni
$ conda create --prefix ./env python=3.11
$ conda activate ./env
$ python --version
Python 3.11.10
After forking the original to my personal branch, I git clone the source to my local:
$ git clone https://github.com/oraclesoon/Screeni-py.git
$ cd Screeni-py
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
Successfully installed (...all without failed)
$ ./run_screenipy.sh --cli
