In this talk, we present and compare several bound-aware QN approaches designed to handle such constraints effectively within the preCICE framework. We focus on modular methods that balance step length control, projection techniques, and space-splitting strategies that separate trusted and extrapolated components of the update. These methods aim to balance convergence speed with physical feasibility, especially in strongly nonlinear or ill-scaled settings.
