What are the "parent directories"?

English is not my first language, so I'm wondering what the "parent directories" are here. Are they relevant to the project root directory? If so, shouldn't using project root as default be more intuitive?

The parent directory of the src folder is my_project whose parent directory is projects.

The documentation explains that if you navigate to the src folder the pixi.toml in the my_project directory is automatically located.

I guess the project root directory is less ambiguous, can we use it?
