Is it possible to globally install local repos or git repos?

I'd like to pixi global install <repo_dir> or pixi global install <git_repo_url>. I hunted around the documentation to no avail. Is there any way to do that?

Both pixi global install --path <PATH> and pixi global install --git <GIT> were added a while ago. Thanks pixi team!
