How to install the ty module for a global python interpreter

Ty is a new type checker and language server for python. I succeeded install it in project directory. But it was failed for a global python interpreter with pixi global install --environment sci ty even with --pypi. Are there any solutions?

I've install ruff globally with pixi global install ruff and pixi exposed ruff in the PATH, letting me use across different repos..
Would this work for you?

Thank you for your reply. It does work for installing ruff. Since ty is still in alpha stage, pixi can not find the package in this way.

How well does ty work as an LSP right now?
I use pylsp+ruff in helix currently..

VS Code. There is an official extension in VS Code.

You can run pixi global install -c conda-forge/label/ty_alpha -c conda-forge ty as ty is already a conda package in the alpha channel

I haven't found the solution, but I think it's quite close.

ah sorry it should be conda-forge/label/ty_alpha and not conda-forge/labels/ty_alpha, i was on my phone when typing the last message
