Missing shortcuts on global installation

Hi!

I installed some packages in global environments. When I run pixi global update I get the following warning:
WARN spyder-base contains shortcuts, but they couldn't be parsed: missing field "platforms" at line 26 column 9

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix this? It would be nice to have shortcuts.

Info:

• Pixi v0.49.0
• Windows 11
• Powershell in Terminal app
• For this environment, I have:

could you share your pixi-global.toml? pixi info should show the path to it

It sounds like the Windows menuinst file does not properly parse, for some reason.

The parsing happens in rattler_menuinst. Would be nice to add a unit test and see whether we're making a mistake in the parsing or whether the JSON file in the package is wrong.

https://conda.github.io/menuinst/defining-shortcuts/#define-your-own-shortcuts says platforms: A dictionary with up to three keys. All of them are optional but you must at least define one.. Probably a bug in the feedstock

I would like to add that I also have this error with my git environment:
WARN git contains shortcuts, but they couldn't be parsed: missing field 'platforms' at line 11 column 5

Yep, platforms is required, but I'm not sure the schema is checking that. I think it has been working by accident due to a bug we are fixing in conda/menuinst#350.
