Book info -> metadata schema mapping exercise

We want to map existing Pressbooks book info fields to the schemas used by several prominent metadata specifications so that we can identify opportunities to generate metadata exports programmatically. End result should be something like this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kg5GWJftTnUBj0cTB978gfI7dvSJ5sxDaej2ANE-oek/edit?gid=0#gid=0 for MARC, OAI-PMH, Dublic Core, OPDS, and Schema.org. Each element should have a dropdown field indicating whether that element is required, recommended, useful, etc.

We need to create a comprehensive mapping document that shows how existing Pressbooks book metadata fields align with the requirements of several prominent metadata specifications. This will help us understand:

• Which metadata we can already export programmatically
• Gaps in our current metadata collection
• Opportunities for automated export generation

Mapping spreadsheet created for the following metadata specifications:

• MARC
• OAI-PMH
• Dublin Core
• OPDS
• Schema.org

For each specification, document includes:

• All relevant metadata elements/fields

• Mapping to corresponding Pressbooks book info fields (where applicable)

• Priority level dropdown (Required/Recommended/Useful/Optional/Not Applicable)

• Notes on any mapping challenges or considerations

• Spreadsheet follows the format established in reference example

• Documentation identifies gaps where Pressbooks fields don't currently exist
