Description

Most appropriate sub-area of Processing 4?

Accessibility, I'm not sure

Processing version

4.4.10

Operating system

Zorin OS 18 (Ubuntu 24.04.03 LTS)

Bug description

I’m new to Processing, when i first installed the app from the GNOME Software app, i was so confused because i wasn't finding the icon of the app on the app drawer because its missing. I tried to reboot the computer and re-installing the software from terminal but same problem. Now i don't know if this is actually an intentional thing (u have to use the terminal to open the app) or a real bug, but i would like to have an app short cut for easier access.

Steps to reproduce this

  1. Install Processing from Snap Store (using Ubuntu's App Center or GNOME Software).

  2. Check if the software appears in the app drawer.
