Code completion under Windows does not work

Bug description

Using the same steps as #177 I can't get code completion to work under any 4.x version. I tried 4.4.10, 4.4.7, 4.3.4, 4.1.3, 4.0b9, 4.0b4, 4.0b3, 4.0b1, 4.0a6. The old 3.5.4 version works like a charm.

Steps to reproduce this

1. open blank project
2. enable "code completion with ctrl+space" in preferences
3. type int testvar = 1;
4. type testv in the next line and then press ctrl+space

Code completion is working for me in Windows 10 in active mode within setup() and draw().

The example provided does not code complete in static mode in Processing 4.4.10.

The example provided does code complete in static mode in Processing 3.5.4.

Interesting. The term "dynamic mode" is mentioned exactly once on the whole processing.org page. (In this forum post from 2021.)

Using the example from https://discourse.processing.org/t/adjust-text-size-based-on-length-of-text/32411/2 I can confirm that it does indeed work within the methods (after the first character, showing all methods on ctrl+space on a newline would be appreciated since it helps a lot with discoverability) and not outside of them.
