[BUG] -t template.yaml returns "no templates provided"

Current Behavior

Templates passed with -t are silently filtered out

Resulting in:

[FTL] Could not run nuclei: no templates provided for scan

Expected Behavior

Run exactly the template(s) specified

Expected:

• Nuclei loads template.yaml
• Executes the HTTP requests defined inside
• Returns matches if found

I think you most prolly wrote a template that was invalid so nuclei silently rejected it (i faced the same wrong assumption when i wrote my first template):

I was trying to make single template for all header based tests

Using:

 header: helpers/payloads/request-headers.txt

Maybe my syntax was wrong idk

nuclei -tgl does not list tags — how to resolve?

Looks like your template is tagged "fuzz", which is disabled by default, see ~/.config/nuclei/.nuclei-ignore. You can run it by passing -itags/-include-tags flag.

nuclei -t header-command-injection.yaml -u http://scanme.sh -itags fuzz -debug
