Context

As part of the ongoing work toward creating a Prometheus design system, we need a clear understanding of what already exists across the Prometheus ecosystem. Before defining new standards, it’s important to audit current UIs and document the visual patterns and components in use today.

Goal

Conduct a UI audit of key Prometheus ecosystem projects to:

  • Identify existing visual styles, components, and patterns
  • Document similarities, inconsistencies, and gaps
  • Create a basic visual guide that reflects the current state of Prometheus UIs

This will serve as a foundation for future design system work.

Scope

The audit may include (but is not limited to):

  • Typography (fonts, sizes, hierarchy)
  • Color usage
  • Buttons, inputs, and form elements
  • Layout patterns
  • Navigation patterns
  • Icons and visual affordances
  • States (hover, focus, disabled, error, etc.)

Target projects may include:

Deliverables

  • A documented inventory of existing UI components and patterns
  • A lightweight visual guide summarizing current usage across the ecosystem
