This is an announcement about homework 1.

Homework 1 is a programming assignment requiring you to implement encryption, decryption, and crack algorithms of three classical cryptographies. A more detailed description will be provided in the homework repository. Please read the README file carefully.

Your implementation will be graded using GradeScope. You can submit to Gradescope via the assignment named 1. Classical Cryptography in KLMS week 2.

How does the score translate to our grades?

Are the scores directly used for our grades, or would we get full points for submitting a working answer and getting a high score is just a bonus?

The Score column in the leaderboard is what you will get for this assignment. Afterwards, the scores for each assignment will be equally aggregated into 40% of your final grade.
