Description
I'm experimenting with using .cjs
and .d.cts
instead of the default .js
and .d.js
for my protobuf-cli-generated files, as a workaround for ESM module issues reported elsewhere in the issue tracker. However, when I invoke pbts
, I get a nearly empty .d.ts
file with the message, "There are no input files to process."
Sample commands:
pbjs -t static-module test/TrendData.proto > test.cjs
pbts test.cjs
Sample output:
import * as $protobuf from "protobufjs";
import Long = require("long");
There are no input files to process.
