Long delay when calling the context menu in Explorer

I installed v1.0.7 x64.
Now I can see thumbnails in the explorer. But when I call the context menu with RMB, it does not appear for some time. The larger the file size, the longer the delay for the context menu to appear.

That is a problem of optimization of decoding. I would expect it takes longer than jpeg as algorithm is more complex. Question is how long it would need after optimzation.

I don't understand why wic_heic needs to decode the image when calling the context menu for a file?

No new images appear in the context menu. It's just a menu with commands "Open", "Copy", "Delete", "Properties", etc.
