Feature Request: Extended controllability of printers via prusa link

Describe the feature

As an Industrial designer, my Printer has to be disconnected at least from every cloud system due to security and privacy (patents etc). Therefore it is only connected to the local network and used with prusaLink.

Since the printers are in the basement workshop (apart from the design office and CAD machines) it is super convenient, to use PrusaLink to initiate new prints. But there are some features missing (in my opinion at least...):

1. Preheating of the printer remotely via PrusaLink (in order to not go walk down to preheat it)
2. Show actual chamber temp in Prusa Link (so you know when the preheat is done propperly --> important for ASA, PC, PA6 and other advanced materials) maybe also in the graph as a third line...
3. Remotely show the actual display content of the machine (would be helpful)
4. Remotely operate the printer as if you would stand in front of it (would be even more helpful!)
5. Seamless Integration of the camera and its setup in Prusa Link (without the need to do the setup via prusa connect)

Thank you for the great work though!
This is the reason why we rather pay double and not buy a bambu :)

I agree with all of these. It would also be beneficial if in addition to material, the printer would ask you (and/or sync via OpenPrintTag) what color of filament is being loaded. This would allow users to see via PrusaLink / Prusa Connect what color is currently loaded to the printer, similar to Anycubic, BambuLab, and many others.

For 1. will look into that, but I thought that is already possible
For 2. see PR #5194
3. that is out of scope of printer fw (for various reasons), but it's easy to create your own tool for that using python and prusalink
For 4. can you be more precise ? There are also already PR for that, i.e. #5201
Regarding 5.: agree but that can also be done easily using rtsp and a custom python script with QR code generator

For 1. at least not, if you use just prusaLink and not PrusaConnect. I have to choose this over the display / knobs on the printer by physically going to the printers room. To be honest: I never used PrusaConnect, since cloud based applications are no option for me for the reason of confidentiallity. So my printing environment is completely offline...

For 2. Yeah! Cool, thank you!

For 3. I can't - no python expirience... but would appreciate if someone expirienced would come up with a solution. If you had the printers Display remotely and could emulate the buttons from afar, this would be pretty much everything one would ever need...

For 4. see my comments for point 3. If you could navigate through the GUI of the printer remotely, this would allow to manipulate every function of the printer remotely - would be pretty helpful for various things like preheating, purging etc.

For 5. yeah - there is a hack / workaround but the camera has then to be accessed through VLC or something like that. Thats kind of not the point, if I have to «hack» a product first, in order to be able to use it - at least in my honest opinion. It would be much more elegant, if you had the camera image directly in prusa slicer (and even be able to save images / videos / timelapses directly through prusa slicer would be the ultimate thing!)

I am no programmer and I just write down what would be convenient out of the perspective of me as a user...
I do though appreciate very much all the good work that has already been done!

I already wrote a library to make prusalink usable in python and I need to have a look if I could do the needed changes. having the display and all functionality remotely isn't currently possible and very much likely won't be integratable due to the current hardware and its limitations. But starting prints, preheating, etc. should be doable (it is already working with prusa connect) with prusalink. As for the camera: yeah, prusalink lacks features that prusa connect has right now, but I assume that adding the needed integration for cam etc. will take some time which the devs currently do not have (due to INDX, NFC etc. in the works right now).
