How to query prometheus api from within karma when prometheus has basic auth

Hi, 

the karma ui doesn't show alert history because the connect to prometheus instance gives 401. Prometheus has a basic auth and therefore karma cant connect properly. How can karma use the credentials to query the prometheus api successful?
