Redis can't write #2
Description
Under some circumstances (seems to be low memory machines), Redis can't write, thus preventing user creation. See error at bottom.
This seems to happen when restarting the register container alone, leading to the redis server being left with a stale connection.
Easy fix
Reboot the redis container with the register one, using ./stop-pryv and ./run-pryv.
Other problem analysis
To fix this, warnings at the boot of the process seem to address the issue:

To fix this issue run the command 'echo never > /sys/kernel/mm/transparent_hugepage/enabled' as root, and add it to your /etc/rc.local in order to retain the setting after a reboot. Redis must be restarted after THP is disabled.
