Can you use ESP NOW and A2DP concurrently?

I believe I read somewhere that you can't do classic BT audio and WiFi simultaneously. Is this true and if so does this rule out being a source for BT audio and talking to other ESP modules using ESP NOW? Thanks

Ohhh Kay... Guess since I asked the question I volunteered to try it.

Before I begin does anyone know for certain if classic BT and WiFi are mutually exclusive? This is for the ESP32 WROOM in my case. Can I rapidly switch between them without loosing the BT connection?

Using purley IDF and a lot of optimizations which includes using PSRAM: there migth maybe a chance..
In Arduino: no way!

You can use the ESP Now functionality provided by the AudioTools to minimize the amount of code...

I did learn that on this chip the WiFi and BT share the same radio so can't be operated simultaneously. You can do TDM and switch between them but...

I'm more tempted to put another small uP in the system and let that do the ESP-NOW stuff while it communicates with the WROOM over serial. I don't want audio dropouts.

Sorry to bring back this discussion even though it's already marked answered - seeing as how ESP-NOW does not work with A2DP as ESP-NOW is considered WIFI, would it be possible to instead connect another ESP32 using bluetooth while also connected to an A2DP sink? I understand it's impossible to do two A2DP sinks, but what about just another bluetooth connection?
