Add an option to use [x] to minimize the tabs instead of close

It is possible to add an option to use [x] to minimize the tabs instead of close?

I have remembered this problem because I have closed all tabs by error.

multi-row mode enabled: options.ui.tabs.multi-rows -> true
Psi -> Options -> Messages -> Common -> Tabs -> Use tabbed mode: for mucs and chats in one window

It already exists for several softwares.

It does not work:

Yep you are right. This options was removed as obsolete after some discussion in dev groupchat.
Here is the commit c532c6e
So there is no possibility to hide regular chat (not groupchat) to contactlist.
Groupchat hide-when-closing option exists and works,
