New Credential prompt not appearing

Ive had no issue with the following until recently.

New-PASSession -Credential $cred -BaseURI $baseURI -type RADIUS -OTP 1

Usually it would prompt for my creds(username/pw) in a pop up window. I no longer get that when i run it in powershell. Instead it moves past that part and I get:

Not sure when this started occurring, but was something changed in the way this initially operates? Or has some management pushed out security changes to block that prompt?

Any help is appreciated since i'm somewhat new to this.

Got it working with:

$CAPASSWORD = 'password'
$CREDPASSWORD = ConvertTo-SecureString $CAPASSWORD -AsPlainText -Force
$CAUSERNAME = 'username'

$CRED = new-object -typename System.Management.Automation.PSCredential -argumentlist $CAUSERNAME, $CREDPASSWORD

New-PASSession -Credential $CRED -BaseURI $pvwaurl -type RADIUS -OTP 1

But what changed to force me to do it this way? Appreciate any input. Maybe i'm just overlooking something.

There has been no change to the module code in over 12 months.
did you update to a different module version recently?

I did, moved to 6.4.85. But i updated hoping it would fix my issue. It had remained on both versions. Possible that my security team implemented some registry values that block the prompt? Would you happen to know which may be related?
