Long processing file

Figure out what's causing this file to take so long to process:

It seems to run the virus checking process fine, but stalls for days after. This jams the queue, causing subsequent jobs to wait for days to process. These jobs use a cached file that only lasts for 24 hours, so the jobs fail.

The file is not that big: 7MB. However, it is not a traditional PDF. It looks like photocopied typewriter script. This might be hard to process?

Note: Adding a timeout is not a good solution for this. In fact, I don't think it's possible to do safely.

We encountered this again. The PDFs were also photocopies. There must be something about photocopies that stalls something in the metadata-listener.
