Date & weekday disappear #3

Hi there, I really like this watchface :)
I would like it even more, if the following behaviour would not occur:
at show/hide elements, week day (active) is enabled, also is date (active), but date (ambient) and week day (ambient) are disabled.
After changing the settings, the active watchface acts normal, week day and date is shown.
Changing to ambient mode, the week day is shown, despite it has been disabled in the config.
Changing back to active mode, the date sporadically disappears, despite it has been enabled in the config.
Sometimes, the week day disappears in ambient mode, like set.
Is this a feature to protect screen burn?
Also I like to request a feature, that a screen burn protection can be set via config.
Right now, I enabled it within the developer's menu on the Fossil Gen 5.
