I heard that there's an ENV variable in proton to use the new WOW64 mode now too 👍

For the record, the env. var. is PROTON_USE_WOW64=1 (but should apply to regular Proton10, not necessarily arm64ec version of it).

Unfortunately in Winlator The variable environment is limited (about 20 pieces) and you can choose only the most necessary ones for better stability, but Proton definitely needs to be added to the environment, it is best suited for games than wine
