Snap Lens Tool NoneType error

I was having issues with the lens tool being able to download, getting the 403 error, which I found the solution for in the Q&A and fixed.
Changed response = requests.get(url) to
def_agent = 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0'
header = {'user-agent': def_agent, 'referer': url}
response = requests.get(url,headers=header)
in the lens_crawler.py file.
As soon as I searched for a lens, no matter what lens I search, I get the error 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get'
I did add some logs in for errors by my python knowledge is limited. I can say based on the errors it does seem to be the get_lens method that is triggering the error.

I've read snapchat changed how their lense downloads work so atm you can't download any and only a few work from their servers, the dev has announced version 3.4 coming this week which should fix some issues and we'll see what happens on release.
