"failed to parse lens archive link" error after snapcam glitch and reinstalling

the other day out of the blue, snapcam glitched for me causing some filters to color the entire screen with a random color, or have a weird black box around my head or just blacking out my face. even with no filter applied it had a cube around my head. i uninstalled and reinstalled snapcam and i deleted the docker image, volumes, etc and downloaded the new server update. it fixed the issue and left me with another. i cant use 90% of the filters, and i cant use any of the filters that i was able to change the blend mode for with the snal lens tool which isnt working anymore either ( i tried the line 36? fix suggested to no avail). its almost like its pulling from a different import folder. when i look into the log it says "failed to parse lens archive link" please help

Hi, Have you remembered to put the assets back in C:\Program Files\Snap Inc\Snap Camera\Resources\PrecachedAssets.bundle?

Otherwise it's the same problem as me with SQL tables and the server version 3.3 to 3.4.
They removed some tables and so if you had custom .lens working with her, they won't work.
I had to redo ALL the tables by hand, it was hell.
If .lens it's not on wayback machine, you're screwed too...

The tool no longer works because Snapchat has banned .lens from browser, since January 1, 2025.
I think you would need an Android emulator to intercept the .lens.

For me also version 3.4 is much inferior to 3.3 🤔

i did put the assets where its supposed to go. also it seems like all my tables are still there in adminer. this was happening to me before the migration to server 3.4. like i said, i really do feel like its pulling from a different import folder. that being said i do still have server 3.3 files on my pc. i searched for import folders on "everything" and i do have a few of them so i think ill delete all other than the one in server 3.4

What do you mean by same issue.

The error message is generated by the app: failed to parse lens archive link
I would need the corresponding server log messages. And ideally, the corresponding database lines for the respective filters.

If you truly believe this to be a bug you can also open a bug ticket.
But I need reproducable steps to track down your error.
