Many Lenses Cannot be Activated | Running V3.4 | Request help

Older lenses working but almost all the newer lenses will not work. Tried everything from deleting everything then doing docker compose up again. Even added all lenses assets into preached assets but they still wont activate. What am Im missing?

Some lenses will not be available because the download URL is unknown.
Therefore the message: [Info] 😕 This lens cannot currently be activated:

Setting mirror_search_results to true can increase your chance to get newer lenses in the future. But it's not guaranteed.

@ptrumpis thanks for the response. Is there any work around to get all or some of these lenses to work? I set the the mirror search to result to True for now.

I'm working on an improvement, but for all new lenses released in 2025 it's difficult.

Snapchat just made another change to its website (yesterday or a few days ago) making the situation even worse.

Do you know if it would be possible to intercept .lens via an android or IOS emulator? Do they use uncompressed .lens?
(for me at the moment it is more complicated to read the root folder of the application. I tried a little but it's been a long time since I played with emulators or ADB shell) Just tell me yes or not, if it is theoretically possible, if you know. This will motivate me.

I don't know about the app lens format but I assume it's the same. Wouldn't make sense to maintain 2 different file formats in my opinion. But there might be an additional file encryption layer.

Yes, I'd be curious to see the format. I tried with rooted Android Studio (with Magisk) and SnapShat sees that it's an emulator and won't let me log in. Classic. I'll do some testing in that direction (with custom apk maybe)

I've been following this thread closely as I'm also experiencing the [Info] 😕 This lens cannot currently be activated error for many newer lenses.

I understand this happens because the server can't find the download URL for these specific lenses. This led me to a question about a potential manual workaround:

If a user knows the direct URL to a lens page on Snapchat's website, is there a feature or a manual way to provide this URL to the server to force an activation and download?

For example, I would love to try and activate this specific lens:

@ptrumpis First off, you're the wind beneath my wings and thank you so much for doing ALL OF THIS. To piggyback off the above user. Almost all of the lenses that won't load for me are potato-related and by the same artist (I stream as a potato). Could we use the embed file that's on the Snapchat site to add them? Also if you are able to come up with a manual process, I would like to volunteer to help add them. I'm not super tech savvy but I'm a pro at following directions.
