How To Add Newer filters

I have a new filter that was made recently and it won't activate on my snap camera server. What would I need to tell the developer to
do so that I could get it to activate on my server? Thank you

Right now there is no easy solution to this.

You would need to tell the developer to create a web app for you as described in the Lens Creator Guide.
Then you could use the API Token and group ID to access the lens.

I could build another tool to for lens developers to export and share their lenses more easily.

I don't know why but it doesn't works for me.

I patched Snap Camera, created my lens with 4.36, published, created the web app, insert the token into the hidden .env file (i am in mac), add my lens to a group, and use my group ID. I start the docker with docker compose --profile creator up.

everything looks like to work well, when I search my group ID the lens shows up but when I activated it it just stuck in loading phase, the effect never shows up on the camera feed.

do you have any idea what I am doing wrong? lots of other lenses are work what I just find within the app.

The reason for infinite loading will be in your application log file.

I had a fresh restart and tried to load one of my custom lens (it is a template lens with no added object). I attached the log file, can you figure out something from it?

EDIT: I checked the error page and it looks like the problem is with the signature patch.

What I did:

• download 1.2.1 version
• install it
• show package content / Content / macos
• go to signature patch website, set macos from the dropdow menu, drag'n'drop snap camera executable to the file selector area. The site said: CRC32 cfd0e619 in green and a green checkmark shows up
• download the patched snap camera file
• override the snap camera file at package content
• run chmod +x "/Applications/Snap Camera.app/Contents/MacOS/Snap Camera" to make it executable
• run sudo codesign --remove-signature "/Applications/Snap Camera.app" to remove signature signing
• run sudo xattr -cr "/Applications/Snap Camera.app" to remove extended file attributes
• after this Snap camera gives me Error: application can't be opened
• run this: sudo spctl --add "/Applications/Snap Camera.app" - not works
• run this: sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - "/Applications/Snap Camera.app" - it works now but I have CodeResourves file again
• run Snap Camera, start Docker with compile command, search for my groupID, start the lens and stays in infinite loading phase
