Migrating to a new domain URL and Android app

Hi there,

I'm doing a brand rebranding for my pwa and I was wondering how to handle this. My plan is to add a redirection on the old URL, but I suspect people using the Android app will get this redirect each time they open the app.

If I regenerate the app with my new URL, then I guess there is a risk that the android app ID changes? AFAIK, that will mess-up with updates.

What's your recommendation for this situation? Thanks!

PS: URL redirect is needed on the old domain because I also trigger some localstorage migration.

Same question here although I would rather not have to maintain a redirect.
