Soon to be bug: Support gitlab / codebege packages

This package
pyOpenSci/software-submission#262

is going to break our build at some point in the future. The maintainers and the package itself are on GitLab. I think that, for the time being, let's use this as an opportunity to ensure the workshop still runs for these submissions. In the future, we can consider whether adding GitLab support (to grab author metadata) is a good time investment for us.
