Hi,
you need to use the symbolic functions defined in PyBaMM.

import numpy as np
import pybamm
parameters = {...}
amplitude = ...
frequency = ...
parameters['Current function [A]'] = lambda t: amplitude * pybamm.sin(2 * np.pi * frequency * t)
