Hello everyone,
I'm using the DFN model and want to change some parameters to see how the battery behavior changes. In general, when you lower the active material volume fraction, there is a greater amount of inactive material (additives, carbon black, binders etc.), correct? Since the diffusivity and conductivity of active and inactive material are different, the combined diffusivity/conductivity of the electrode should also change. Is this behavior also considered in the DFN model? Since I only found one diffusivity/conductivity value for each electrode, my guess would be that changing the active material volume fraction has no impact on those properties. What would be the best way to consider the described behavior? Or would that be to complex?
