Simulating Capacity regeneration

Hello im a newbie on Pybamm and on battery modelling and I'm interested in simulating capacity regeneration to develop a kalman filter for estimating the capacity and I want it to be robust against abrupt jumps caused by capacity regeneration. If I'm correct, the capacity regeneration is mainly caused by lithium plating but I can't set an experiment in which we can observe frequent regeneration jumps. Thank you in advance for your help !
