Firmware install (first time)

Hi folks, my son just got a new PowerUp technic Audi ETron and I was thinking in installing the firmaware to let him play with pybricks.

I did see that it is easy to restore the firmware, but installing the new firmware will it prevent the hub to work with the lego phone app?

Just checking before I flash the hub and make it impossible for him to play with it with the phone.

Pybricks is not compatible with the official LEGO apps, so you have to restore the LEGO firmware before you can use the LEGO app again.

You could also try the recovery step first if that makes you a bit more comfortable, even if the official firmware is still on it.

In the instruction video, we show how to do it with the Powered Up app, but it should also work with the Control+ app that you are using.
