Essential and xbox?

Hi! Has anyone tried to connect an xbox controller to Spike Essential? I am trying, but it won'y connect.

I haven't tried it, but I would assume it would work just like SPIKE Prime since they both use the same Bluetooth chip.

Can you share more about what you tried (like the code) and what didn't work (like any error messages)?

This is the code... No errors, and I try to just press the start button so that it blinks blue, and then activate the Xbox to search for a connection, but they don't connect.

Is the Xbox Controller in pairing mode? This is needed the first time.

Once the controller is on, hold the small button in the back for a few seconds. The light on the controller should now blink a bit faster.

Did you get this controller new just for this? If so, you may still need to update it with the Xbox accessories app on windows. (if you use it frequently with a console, it probably updated itself already)
