Struggling with programming.

I am trying to program a bot to use a single joystick on the Xbox controller. My previous codes used two joysticks vertical to control the two drive motors. I tried to isolate part of the code from the Liebherr LR13000 to drive the motors but it isn't working. I am getting an error but am not sure what I need to do to fix it.

Any help appreciated.

I noticed a couple of things I had overlooked and have made a couple of changes but still getting the errors

I have gone back to basics and this seems to work.

in your first picture of your program, there are blue triangles with exclamation marks on the definition of the drivebase.
That tries to tell you that both motors indicated there are not valid (defined) motors.
Simply to fix that by choosing the correct motors there.

Similar in the second one, and there the xbox controller is not defined.

Problems like in the first two programs I do not see in the third. So progress there I think.

Thanks for pointing those out, I had not noticed and it took me a while to see what you were referring to. The third program is working but I will work on it and see if I can refine it a bit more, I would like to add motor braking if I can make it work.
