Hello. My kids would love to use emojis in the name of task or variable in pybricks block coding.
On a first try, it seems to work well

But I wonder: Are there any risks involved, like introducing some bug which may break the compiled code?

You can see the code preview on the right. It replaces special symbols with allowed characters automatically:

The code doesn't look nearly as pretty as the blocks here, but it works.

They can in principle be used as text strings as well (to print in the output).

There are some cases where MicroPython doesn't fully support unicode (e.g. #2268). For example, using the index operator [] on a string will return single bytes rather than characters, Since emojis are multi-byte characters, it means you can't get the nth emoji in a string, for example.

So it should be fairly safe (it shouldn't cause crashes or anything like that), but it may give unexpected results in some cases due to lack of full support.
