The download and run button is still the blue triangle that it always was. Are you looking for other functionality? You have to connect to the robot before it is enabled. Until then, it is grayed out. |

Well, if I press the triangle button my program starts but is not actually
downloaded to the device. I want to be able to run my program without have
to use my computer after every “reboot”. That’s the functionality I’m
looking for.
Thanks

Yes, you’re correct. I just had to press the centre button to start the
latest program.
Thanks

It is. This functionality has been here for a couple of years.
Some older tutorials may refer to additional tricks to save programs, but
that is no longer required.
If in doubt about coding being saved, you could try a basic program that
does nothing but turn the light red for a few seconds. It should still be
there after you restart the hub, and is easy to verify.

Hi,
I'm new to pybricks but have a lot of python experience.
Maybe I have not searched through the forums enough but I do not find any way to enable the "download & run" button which is shown on some older screenshots. Is that feature removed or do I have to enable it? This might be the same question as #2421 .
Thanks,
Peter
