Shuffle() not shuffling

When i run:

ones = dataset.copy(idx=range(split_index))
zeros = dataset.copy(idx=range(split_index+1, len(dataset)))
print(ones[split_index-1].y)
print(zeros[0].y)


torch.manual_seed(12345) #set seed for reproducibility
ones.shuffle()
zeros.shuffle()

the ones and zeros are not shuffling. I have a dataset.data.index, and when I split it into ones and zeros, I get ones.data.index tensor([0,1,2,3...10811]) and zeros.data.index returns tensor([10812, 10813, ... 43,248]) as expected. But after shuffling, doing the same thing returns the same results. Shouldnt ones[0].index be a random integrer between 0 and 10811? Not 0?
